Absolutely! Jack's is always all ages. Before 7 PM the vibe is family-forward; after 7 PM things turn more festive and BOO-zy, though guests of all ages are welcome to stay at parent discretion (anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult after 7 PM).
-

-
Is parking available?
Hey there, pumpkin party-goers🎉!
Ready to dive 🚗 into the festive fun at Jack’s Pumpkin Pop-Up? Just a heads up—while we're smack dab in the heart of downtown Chicago, parking can be a bit like finding a needle in a haystack. 🌆
Jack’s Pumpkin Pop-Up doesn’t have any designated parking lots, and we're not associated with any valet or parking services nearby, which means we don’t control pricing or availability.
To ensure a smooth experience, we encourage ride-sharing whenever possible.
Remember, parking’s especially spooky during peak hours, so plan to arrive a little early to snag a spot and stroll in stress-free. Let’s get this party pumpkin-rolling!
Your forever friend,
Jack🍂
-
What bags are allowed?
Small bags, purses, diaper bags, and backpacks are welcome. All bags are subject to inspection upon entry, so we recommend bringing only what you need for the quickest way in.
-
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
There is nothing we love more than a good party! However, No outside food or drink is allowed at any time. Due to the City of Chicago and other restrictions, this is non-negotiable and strictly enforced. Please celebrate prior to or after your arrival and do not bring cake, cupcakes, or any other outside food/beverage item. Our amazing team does not like to be the bearer of unhappy news, especially in a “party” environment and you will be asked to throw out any items before entering. Food and full bar service will be available for an additional cost.
-
What items are prohibited?
To help keep Jack's safe and enjoyable, please leave the following at home: outside food or beverages, outside alcohol, illegal substances, weapons of any kind, glass containers, fireworks, drones, laser pointers, and anything else deemed unsafe by our team. All guests and belongings are subject to screening upon entry.

-
I just want to buy pumpkins — do I need a ticket to enter?
Yes, everyone entering the property needs an admission ticket, even if you're just there for pumpkins. While you're in, be sure to check out the fortune tellers, corn maze, and carnival games too!
-
Do you offer kids' birthday parties?
Jack's is a great backdrop for tween and teen birthdays, with gem mining and the corn maze especially popular for younger kids. Keep in mind we don't offer designated seating or party areas, and outside food (including cakes) isn't allowed for safety reasons since our grounds include hay. Tickets should be purchased online in advance — text us with any questions!
-
Is it kid-friendly? What ages love it most?
Jack's is all ages, and two groups especially love it: babies and little ones (great for fall photo ops without a trip to the suburbs) and preteens/teens (who enjoy the lights, games, and photo moments as their own fall festival hangout). Families wanting a traditional farm experience with hayrides and petting zoos may prefer a suburban pumpkin farm — Jack's offers a different, city-based fall experience.
-
Is it scary?
No, Jack's is fun for all ages! Our pumpkin patch includes fall and Halloween-themed decor like giant pumpkins, skeletons, spiders, and scarecrows, but you won't find frights, gore, or jump scares here.
-
Tell me more about the corn maze.
Jack's features the largest and only Corn maze in downtown Chicago, included with your admission ticket. It's family-friendly before 7 PM, and after 7 PM the vibe turns more festive and BOO-zy for guests 21+ (with anyone under 21 welcome to stay when accompanied by a caregiver).

-
Do tickets sell out or increase in price?
Yes — Jack's Pumpkin Pop-Up is a limited seasonal event, so we encourage purchasing tickets in advance. Prices vary by date, time, and package, and tend to increase as popular dates sell out.

Are Halloween costumes allowed?
We love Halloween! Costumes are welcome as long as they're appropriate for an all-ages venue — no weapons, sharp or pointed objects, or masks that obstruct vision, and costumes shouldn't drag on the ground. Guests who don't follow these guidelines may be asked to adjust their costume before entering.

-
Is it wheelchair and stroller accessible?
Jack’s welcomes and loves guests of all abilities! Our 2 acres in downtown Chicago are completely covered in straw and hay, and located on unpaved and uneven farm ground. We do our very best to make our event as accessible in every area, to all our guests as possible. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons can be brought on premises, but the ground (like any farm) can be bumpy in spots, and wheelchairs will need someone pushing/helping. Other areas of the event are spread out over a combination of straw, dirt, and gravel which could be somewhat difficult to push through. Assistance from a caregiver should be planned for. When you arrive our leadership team is always happy to answer any other questions you might have and help in any way we can. We look forward to celebrating with you.
-
Are bathrooms available?
Yes! We have port-a-potties available throughout the event.
-
Can I take photos and videos?
Capture as many photos and videos as you'd like throughout your visit, and if you post them on social media, be sure to tag @jackspumpkinpopup so we can see your favorite moments.
-
What if I lose something during my visit?
Let's see if we can track it down! Text 312-850-8188 or email hello@jackspumpkinpopup.com with a description of what you're missing, and we'll check our Lost & Found.
-
How can I stay updated?
Join our email list and follow @jackspumpkinpopup on social media to be the first to hear about ticket releases, special events, and everything happening at Jack's this season.
-
My mobile ticket doesn't show everything I purchased — what should I do?
No worries — your email confirmation lists everything you bought. Due to third-party platform limits, your mobile ticket only displays Entry, Corn Maze, and Axe Throwing (if purchased). Once your QR code is scanned at entry, our team can see your full package and any add-ons.
-
I want to get engaged at Jack's — now what?
How exciting! A few tips: everyone attending must have a ticket (a group package works great and helps keep things looking "routine"). We highly recommend hiring a professional photographer — they'll need their own ticket too. Consider planning around our Pumpkin House for great lighting, and once you've checked in, head to the Box Office so our team can help coordinate with the manager on duty. Email hello@welovepopups.com ahead of time if you'd like to bring props or displays.
-
I'm coming with a group — should we buy tickets together or separately?
Ticket and package pricing is the same either way — there's no group discount. If your group won't all arrive at the same time, we recommend each person purchase separately. If tickets are purchased under one name, that person must be present with valid ID matching the payment method before the rest of the group can enter.
-
Is it open every day?
Rain or shine, we're open every day of the season — we're 100% outdoors!
-
What if I have allergies?
Jack's is a 100% outdoor experience that uses a lot of hay, straw, and corn — similar to visiting a farm. If you have a hay or straw allergy, please keep that in mind before purchasing, since all sales are final and non-refundable.
-
Do you sell pumpkins?
Yes! We offer a wide selection of traditional orange, heirloom, and specialty pumpkins, from mini to monster-sized, for you to take home. You can pre-purchase a pumpkin online with your ticket, or add one when you arrive at the box office or in the patch. A ticket is required to enter and shop the patch.
-
Where is the entrance?
The main entrance to Jack's Pumpkin Pop-Up is located at 1265 West Le Moyne Street, Chicago, IL 60642.
-
Can I bring my pet?
We love pets, but with large crowds, live music, and a lively festival atmosphere, Jack's Pumpkin Chicago can be overwhelming for many animals. Only trained service animals are permitted, and they must remain under their handler's control at all times.
